Came over Evelyn's Aloha Blog Carnival. Loved your fishing story as everybody else. Isn't that what 'fishing' is all about, bonding with the ocean and meditating in nature?

Sure we eat fish bought at the market but if one is really ending up on our fishing hook, we don't feel as excited as we expected and rather let the pure creature go. That's not only what your husband did. Guess what I did that too. Pua

Bobbie - I so loved this fishing story! How clever of this man to have invented his excuse to sit by the sea. In a way it makes me sad, that he felt he had to create this facade to prevent people from thinking he was odd.

I always enjoy finding tide pools in Hawaii.

Thanks for sharing "one of your fishing stories." We love going fishing near our home in Puna although we haven't done it in a long time. We would catch Ta'ape and Poopaa, Mempachi (if we were lucky) and pan fry them for dinner with rice.
